Good Day IVS Families!

We had a wonderful first week back to school and the students have settled in very nicely.  It looks like it is going to be a terrific year at IVS!

Rainbows - please see link on our school website regarding this program for students who have experienced loss (eg. divorce, death of a loved one, etc...).  We are hoping to offer this program for our grade 3 – 5 students to those who would benefit from it.  Please contact Ms. Roy if you are interested at michelle.roy@nbed.nb.ca

Student Fee – a friendly reminder to please send in your student fee by the end of the month.  We are happy to work with families on a payment plan if that suits your needs.  The fee is $20 per student or $50 for a family of three children.  Thank-you to all who have already paid!

IVS Swinging for Cash 50 / 50 Fundraiser – we will be having our first 50/50 draw next week on September 14^th.  For returning families, please continue to use your assigned number when sending in your toonie each week (simply tape it to your coin).  Early next week we will be sending home numbers for our new families so they can get in on the action.  If you forgot your number please use the contact email ivsplayground@icloud.com or visit the IVS 50 / 50 website: http://ivsplayground.weebly.com/ Good Luck!

EMO Drills – at IVS will be routinely be practicing our safety drills during the school year.  On Friday, we completed our first fire drill of the year which went very well.  In early October, we will be performing our Lockdown drill.  Teachers will review the procedures for this in advance with the students in their class. If you have questions about our EMO plans/procedures please contact the school principal.

Sept. 21^st – Online Orders for October Closed at Midnight

Sept. 21^st – IVS Family Pizza Night (this year when you order is $25 or more, 20% goes to the school and you get a free voucher for a large 3 topping pizza only when placing orders online). Please consider going to their site to register for online ordering in advance to be ready for these great deal.
